Join us for a morning of relaxation and a lovley introduction to the art of beautiful lettering.on 16 May. A great gift or why not bring a friend?.. You will discover how to shape loops and swirls with a dip pen and pointed calligraphy nib. The class is led by your tutor Claire who is welcoming and friendly and you'll discover what a fun and playful experience calligraphy can be.

Start the day in the gorgeous setting of the Kentmere valley on our traditional Lakeland farm. You will recieve a warm welcome and fresh coffee (or tea) by a roaring wood-burner.in our stunning art studio.

The workshop is 10-1 which gives you plenty of time to develop your skills and create some original calligraphy. Claire will give demonstrations and helpful tips on writing posture, flourishing and creating your own designs. At the end of the course you’ll have the option to create a piece of colourful calligraphy art to take home.

Suitable for absolute beginners - no previous experience needed.
